Ford’s Mustang GT Series Review

Ford’s Mustang GT Series Review

Mustang is a world renown car brand with many great car series. My personal favorite is the Mustang GT series. It has many cars but which one should you buy? I'm here to answer that! First up, let’s talk about the engine. The engine that powers all Mustang GTs since 2011 is called the Coyote. It is a 5 liter 302 cubic inch engine that can make 420-482 from stock and can handle 4 digit horsepower reliably. This engine is also used in the f150s. The Coyote makes a good track, drag racing, or work engine because of the light…

She was a student teacher for Rebecca Castelino and learned a lot of stuff from helping teach with Castelino. Harter, at a young age, wanted to be working with kids and both of her parents are teachers. When working as a student teacher, Harter got to teach first hand as Castelino’s student teacher. Harter said she wouldn’t be here without Castelino. Castelino went to…

Space: The Infinite Vacuum

Space, the large and endless void - full of many cool and terrifying things, like large galaxies, quasars, neutron stars, black holes, and many other terrifying things. But the real question is, is the universe really infinite? Many scientists go and say that the universe is forever expanding while others say that it may expand to a limit then become a small bubble then redoing the cycle of the big bang. Meaning that the universe would just restart. If this event happens and is true how would it go down? Would it just be like an implosion or would everything…

How the Internet Began

The internet now has spread and become a very massive thing that most people know about. When it was made almost no one had an idea it existed. Only richer people could get their hands on a computer that could run the internet so almost no one had entered and seen the internet. What was it like? The internet started as a way for government researchers to communicate and send details and plans to other researchers. The one part of the internet called the dark web was originally used for the U.S. military to communicate and send plans to each…

Fighting for Freedom

Fighting for Freedom

On Nov. 9, 2023, Federal Hocking Middle School invited veterans into the school to honor them for their service. The assembly started off with the Federal Hocking Marching Lancers playing the “Star Spangled Banner.'' After they played the national anthem, students played “America the Beautiful.” The band’s director, Julia Brewer, was absent at the assembly so Raen Ridgway and Luke Marcum lead the band in the playing of the songs.  “It could have been a lot better. But at least we [the band] didn’t crash and burn,” Morella Ridgway, who plays bass clarinet for the marching band, said in…
