The grand reopening of the Poston’s Gas Station marked an exciting new chapter for the local community. After undergoing a complete transformation, the station is unveiling not just a fresh look, but a whole new experience designed to better serve customers and bring the neighborhood together. This one-day event celebrated more than just renovations—it honors community and a renewed commitment to supporting local goods and services.

To commemorate the reopening, Poston’s Gas Station offered several special promotions to thank its loyal customers and welcome new faces. One of the highlights was a 20% discount on all local goods, available throughout the day of the grand opening. In addition to these savings, the station hosted giveaways every hour, giving attendees plenty of chances to win fun prizes and enjoy surprises. Customers experienced raffles, bingo games, and a wheel spin, ensuring that there’s excitement around every corner. For younger visitors, the event included free candy, making it a family-friendly occasion as well.

Rylan Poston shared his excitement about the recent updates.

“I love the new options—especially the soda machine. I like that I can stop by and refill my cup for cheap.”

A key feature of the reopening is the introduction of new services and offerings. The gas station has expanded beyond traditional fuel and snacks to include an ice cream station, a new soda machine, and an expanded selection of local products. Highlights include the popular Amish fried pies and what many locals consider the best hamburger in Ohio. While there won’t be food trucks on-site, customers can enjoy a variety of freshly made, locally sourced options available inside.

New and returning customers alike will benefit from exclusive deals, including a Poston-branded mug that comes with discounted refills as part of a loyalty program. This promotion encourages customers to make Poston their go-to stop for drinks and snacks, reinforcing the community-focused spirit of the business.

One of the most impressive aspects of the reopening is the station’s complete redesign. With an entirely new and innovative layout, customers can enjoy a more efficient and pleasant shopping experience. The renovation was an “extreme makeover” that prioritized customer flow, accessibility, and atmosphere. Brent and Cindy Hayes bought the business from Donnie Poston and are on a roll.

The event may have just lasted one day, but the improvements and new offerings are here to stay.

The grand reopening of Poston’s Gas Station is more than a fresh coat of paint—it’s a renewed promise to the community. With local goods, exciting promotions, and a space designed with customers in mind, Poston invites everyone to stop by and see what’s new. As General Manager Hunter Edwards, one of the proud minds behind the relaunch, puts it:
“Shop Poston’s, shop often.”

In fact, Lancers have a special reason to shop on Fridays at Poston’s because they donate 10% of their sales to different FHHS student organizations from their Friday sales.
