Another New Teacher at Federal Hocking! Meet Ms. Wasserman

By Tina Geer

Federal Hocking seems to be stealing teachers from all over the county! First we got Mrs Tabler from Nelsonville-York, and now Mrs. Wasserman from Trimble. Mrs. Wasserman is a new teacher at Federal Hocking. She teaches behavior intervention, so she helps with social skills and a few other things.

Something that made her decide she wanted to teach was that she believes that education is important and loves to see the kids she taught grow up to be successful people. She subbed for a year and liked it so she became a teacher! She likes teaching at Federal Hocking. She said the way things work are very progressive and all of the teachers are caring and supportive of each other!

She taught at Trimble for 3 years before she came to Federal Hocking. Her favorite thing about teaching is being able to see kids and being able to help them.

Here’s a few things to get to know Mrs. Wasserman.  In her free time she likes go hiking with her dog, running and cooking. Some of her hobbies include reading, cross stitching and camping. Over the weekends she likes to go out and spend time with her husband!

We’re very glad to have you here Mrs. Wasserman! We can’t wait to see what our school’s future will look like now that you’re in it! Thanks for joining our community and becoming a Federal Hocking Lancer!
