Most girls on the team are the same as the first year “First year was learning how to play, this year is about getting better,” Coach L. Congratulations to Mason Jackson who placed third, shooting a 76, in the District Golf Tournament on Monday. We are proud of the way Mason has represented FedHock on and off the golf course. Although this has ended his high school season, we know that Mason still has other great golf experiences yet to come and we want to wish him luck at the Pittsburgh Fall Junior Open at the Totteridge Club on October 16-17.
On Wednesday, Sept 29, the Lancer Golf Team finished 8th overall in the Sectional Golf Tournament that was held at the Franklin Valley Golf Club in Jackson, Ohio. Mason Jackson shot an 80 and was second overall in the tournament. Mason will be participating in the District Golf Tournament on Monday, October 4th at the Elks Country Club in McDermott, Ohio. On the Federal Hocking HS cheer team we have 11 amazing cheerleaders and they are all hard working athletes who just happen help with pep rallies. Practices are every Tuesday and Thursday so they can push themselves to be the best that they can be.
