Junior Addison Jackson was on the golf course just trying her best when she surpassed her PR and shot a 36 for the nine holes. On Tuesday May 9, 2023, Federal Hocking High School senior, Mia Basim, signed her letter of intent with the University of Rio Grande, a private university in Rio Grande, Ohio. Rio Grande recognized Mia’s golfing skills and granted her a scholarship.  Do you remember when Covid hit, school was closed and events were canceled? Second Season of Girl’s Golf Shows Improvement

By Stephanie Young The girl’s golf team for FedHock Lancers this year has 12 members and is run by Coach Emily Thompson and Coach Levi Thompson. Most girls on the team are the same as the first year “First year was learning how to play, this year is about getting better,” Coach L. Jackson Places 3rd in District Golf Tournament

Congratulations to Mason Jackson who placed third, shooting a 76, in the District Golf Tournament on Monday. We are proud of the way Mason has represented FedHock on and off the golf course. Although this has ended his high school season, we know that Mason still has other great golf experiences yet to come and we want to wish him luck at the Pittsburgh Fall Junior Open at the Totteridge Club on October 16-17.

Mason Jackson Qualifies For District Golf Tourney

On Wednesday, Sept 29, the Lancer Golf Team finished 8th overall in the Sectional Golf Tournament that was held at the Franklin Valley Golf Club in Jackson, Ohio.  Mason Jackson shot an 80 and was second overall in the tournament.  Mason will be participating in the District Golf Tournament on Monday, October 4th at the Elks Country Club in McDermott, Ohio.
