By Gavin Y Meet our new high school principal, Mr. Amlin. I took some time to interview Mr. Amlin about his career here at Federal Hocking Local Schools. I learned that Mr. Amlin has been working here at Federal Hocking for seven years. This is his first year as a principal, before that he served as Assistant Superintendent. When asked if he enjoyed being principal of the high school, he said “I like it so far. I enjoy working with students and staff.” Mr. Amlin has 5 daughters in 6th through 12th grades. By Tina Geer Federal Hocking seems to be stealing teachers from all over the county! First we got Mrs Tabler from Nelsonville-York, and now Mrs. Wasserman from Trimble. Mrs. Wasserman is a new teacher at Federal Hocking. She teaches behavior intervention, so she helps with social skills and a few other things.  Something that made her decide she wanted to teach was that she believes that education is important and loves to see the kids she taught grow up to be successful people.
