Do you like art? If you said yes, then you should consider the art club. The MS and HS art club is a club where you can express yourself and feel that you are in a safe space. Anyone who wants to be in the art club can join, regardless of race, gender, sexuality, or any beliefs. All are
welcome. Mrs. Ellen Hadley, the art teacher here at Federal Hocking has run the art club for many years to give students a chance to be themselves and create wonderful art using their emotions and creativity.
The art club does all kinds of things! For example, the field trip to Columbus, Ohio to visit two art museums for students to be inspired and see all the wonderful pieces of art. The art club always has something for everyone. The art club also does fundraisers, whether it’s money for the school, or supplies for the refugees from Ukraine, they always have fun. The art club is truly a great experience and a good way to earn citizenship points.
So if you are looking for a good club and like art, don’t be afraid to join! And who knows, you may even make some new friends.
