Congratulations to our FFA food science teams who competed yesterday at Athens! Our high school team placed 4th with Emma Amlin placing 6th and Stella Gilcher placing 9th. Jacob Schneider and Sheridan Boyd were also on the team.
Our middle school team placed 1st with Gracie King placing first and Ellie Barnhart placing second. Charlee Slaybaugh, Bo Gilcher, and Brooklyn Wade were also part of that team.
Team members had to identify food manufacturing equipment, identify aromas, detect which of 3 food samples tasted different, complete some math problems, and identify sanitation issues.
