I have dipped my artistic interests into the craft of portraits, starting senior year. I gravitate towards creating portraits; as an emerging artist, I believe that it is crucially important to master the concept of drawing faces and the human figure, if one were to dabble in the concept of drawing any human being. Overall, I greatly enjoy creating portraits. The following piece is a self portrait project I have made in last semester’s Advanced Art class.
