By Wyatt Dunfee After the new semester begins, Federal Hocking Middle School and High School will implement a new schedule. The most notable change is the new lunch time. Instead of a two block lunch schedule intervening with second block, we’ve got a combined hour lunch. Here’s what the new schedule looks like. These were the students of Federal Hocking who volunteered to bring the Haunted Halls to life.The head teacher behind the operation was Mr. Amlin and the head student was none other than Grace Jeffers. FFA Food Science Teams Compete

Congratulations to our FFA food science teams who competed yesterday at Athens! Our high school team placed 4th with Emma Amlin placing 6th and Stella Gilcher placing 9th. Jacob Schneider and Sheridan Boyd were also on the team.Our middle school team placed 1st with Gracie King placing first and Ellie Barnhart placing second. Charlee Slaybaugh, Bo Gilcher, and Brooklyn Wade were also part of that team.Team members had to identify food manufacturing equipment, identify aromas, detect which of 3 food samples tasted different, complete some math problems, and identify sanitation issues.
